Privacy Policy

Guided Daily is provided by VP Support Services (Jamaica). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language on purpose.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password (we never see or store your actual password). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
- What you add to the app: journal entries, prayers, goals, habits, tasks, notes, budget entries, moods, reflections, vision board items, links and similar content. This is stored so it can sync across your devices.
- Photos you choose to upload: a profile photo and vision board images. You can remove them at any time.
- Passkeys: if you set one up, we store only a public key. Your fingerprint, face or device PIN never leaves your device.
- Basic technical information: sign-in sessions (device type and approximate time) so you can see and end them in Security, and error logs to keep the service running.
AI features
When you use the AI Companion, AI prompts or the Photo Wellness Scan, the text or photo you send is processed by our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a reply. Photos sent to the Photo Wellness Scan are not stored by Guided Daily. The Companion only remembers things when AI memory is switched on, and you can view, delete or clear those memories in Settings at any time.
How we use your information
- To provide the app's features and keep your data in sync.
- To keep your account secure (for example, lockouts after repeated failed sign-ins).
- To send emails you ask for, such as password resets.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not show ads, and we do not use your journal, prayers or other personal content for advertising.
Community groups
Posts and replies you share in a prayer or encouragement group are visible to members of that group. Group owners and moderators can remove content and members. You can report or block anyone.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: one to keep you signed in, one for security (to prevent forged requests), and one to remember your chosen theme. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Keeping your data safe
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in a secured database. Access is limited to what is needed to run the service.
Your choices and rights
- Download your data: Settings → Data & Backup → Download all my data.
- Correct your data: edit anything directly in the app.
- Delete your account: Settings → Data & Backup → Delete my account. This permanently deletes your account and all of your data. See how to delete your account.
How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is removed from our live database straight away. Routine hosting backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.
Children
Guided Daily is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we make important changes to this policy, we will update the date above and let you know in the app.
